Venue Description

Marquee New York is a premiere entertainment haven where you’ll find some of the most extravagant events the industry has to offer. The venue attracts celebrities, world-class DJs, and party-goers from around the globe.

The original monumental 5,000 sq ft destination offers an immersive party experience. Marquee New York features extensive lighting, an elevated DJ booth, and video. Plus, there are also laser systems to enhance the diverse musical headlining talent. Up top, a wraparound catwalk provides a landing for dancers, flame throwers, performance artists and more. Moreover, the venue is all glitzed up with multiple LED screens and a vanity-bulb-encased disco ball.

Cultural tourists should also make sure to check out the bathrooms. Downstairs, the toilet wallpaper was designed by none other than Mike D of the Beastie Boys. Plus, we’re told the walls of the upstairs’ are papered with a Willy Wonka-esque banana-scented scratch and sniff (which, given the location, may not last long).

For entry, all guests must be 21+ years old and present valid, original photo identification. The following forms of original photo identification are accepted:

• Valid passport or visa from the United States government or any other country.

Wednesdays are Open Format. Fridays & Saturdays are mostly commercial house but can change depending on the DJ. Please check our calendar.

I want to come to Marquee NYC, but I’ve never been, what is the easiest entry method?

If tickets are available, purchasing tickets are the easiest way to enter Marquee. We expedite ticket holder entries and most nights there is no wait for tickets! If you purchase a ticket, please arrive before 12:30AM. After 12:30AM, there is no longer expedited entry and are subject to capacity restraints. Tickets are valid all night.

What To Wear

Dress code is strictly enforced. Marquee is an upscale and trendy nightclub, and its dress code is no different. For guys — no shorts, caps or athletic attire. Stick to collared shirts, fitted dark denim or pants paired with fashionable shoes. Ladies can’t go wrong with a little black dress and heels. Entrance is at the discretion of the door staff.
