Born and raised in the Bay Area, from humble beginnings, Yo Yolie grew up in a DJ environment as her older brother and his crew were DJ’s that influenced her to embrace the culture. She developed a diverse musical taste. From listening to soul & reggae in her elementary school, to hearing Merengue, Hip-Hop, 80’s New Wave & tuning in to her favorite DJ’s on the radio. Her upbringing was flourished with enriching sounds, which began her journey as a music enthusiast.

When Yolie isn’t spinning at some of the cities hottest venues, the tastemaker is playing for leading brands such as Nike, Victoria’s Secret, Crunch, Marciano, H&M. Battled in the Beezo Battle 2013 won the Semi-Final. Also, preformed for thousands at festivals such as PRIDE SF Oakland. Last but not least, at the famous Nike Women’s Marathon SF.

This young DJ has made a name for herself recently with her hard work and talent.
